The European Higher Education Fair took place in Kuala Lumpur the 8th and the 9th of September 2007 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC).
Freight forwardingA total number of 55 Higher education institutions and 18 National Representations from 27 EU Member States exhibited at the Fair and a total of 7,983 visitors attended the fair over the 2 days. During the two-day fair, 41 country presentations were also given by the National Representations about the higher education system in their country. Apart from information booths where visitors were able to collect relevant information from representatives of the participating institutions, presentations were also be made where students could find out more about study opportunities and scholarship programmes, including the European Commission's various programmes, such as Erasmus Mundus and its Masters Courses. The fair opened between the hours of 11:00-18:00 on both the 8th and 9th of September 2007.
Exhibitors were responsible for the transportation of their exhibition materials to the European Higher Education Fair in Kuala Lumpur. Exhibitors were able to use the contractor of their choice. Full details were sent to exhibitors that expressed an interest in Schenker's services. Schenker can be contacted directly at the address above. Exhibits arrived at the Hannover consolidation point for forwarding to Kuala Lumpur by 14th August 2007 at the latest. Any contractual arrangement between an exhibitor and the freight forwarder were solely an arrangement between the two parties. The implementing agencies/organisers are not liable in the event of services or payments between the freight forwarder and an exhibitor not being provided as contractually agreed upon. Insurance Shipment is not insured by the organisers. Exhibitors are required to procure insurance themselves, if they wish it to be insured. Documentation Full details of documentation requirements for Malaysia and consignee details were circulated to all exhibitors by Schenker in due time. Whichever freight forwarding company exhibitors chose to use, further details on transportation, delivery and labelling will be available in the exhibitor manual which selected exhibitors received by email. |
