How to register

Registration for the Asia-Link Symposium has now closed.

Details of the registration procedure can be found below:

1. Do you satisfy the Asia-Link Symposium eligibility criteria ?

In order to have been eligible to participate in the Asia-Link Symposium you must fulfil the following criteria:

- be a representative of a European higher education institution involved in one or more cooperation projects with an Asian higher education institution or interested in participating in an EU-Asian cooperation project in the field of higher education.

or

- be a representative of a Malaysian higher education institution involved in one or more cooperation projects with a European higher education institution or interested in participating in an EU-Asian cooperation project in the field of higher education.

or

- be a Malaysian stakeholder (e.g. government official, policy-maker or representative from the economic sector) in the field of higher education cooperation between the EU and Asia.

Due to the set number of places for each Asia-Link Symposium, the final selection of participants was confirmed by the organisers.

2. Registration procedure

Applicants were required to register online for the Asia-Link Symposia in Kuala Lumpur.

Applicants then received an email after their registration confirming whether their request had been successful.

3. Matchmaking activity

The Asia-Link Symposium participants were invited to take part in the matchmaking activity which brought together European and Asian professionals in the field of higher education, in order to discuss possible cooperation projects and share experience. Registration for the matchmaking activity will be launched prior to the event.

4. Payment

Participation in the Asia-Link Symposium was free of charge.
